(1) A thread milling cutter can process threads with different diameters and the same tooth profile

(7) It is easy to do secondary cutting of thread
The reprocessing of existing threads has always been a difficult problem in thread machining by turning. After the use of thread numerical control milling, this problem will be solved. From pure kinematic analysis, it can be seen that as long as the feed distance of each circle is fixed during milling, and the tool is cut from a fixed height each time, the machined threads will be at the same position, and the radius of the machine will be different. It will affect the thread depth (tooth height), so there is no need to worry about the occurrence of chaotic teeth.
