NC3010 NC3020 NC3030 NC500H Processing general steel such as 45# steel, 40Cr, 20# steel, A3 steel and other steel parts with moderate carbon content. If there is an intermittent cutting part in the workpiece, use NC3030. NC3010 and NC3020 are not suitable for intermittent cutting of No. 45 steel. The impact resistance is obviously inferior to NC3030.

1. Generally speaking, turning inserts are divided into positive-angle inserts and negative-angle inserts. A positive-angle insert means that the insert has a clearance angle and only one side can be used; a negative-angle insert means that the insert does not have a clearance angle, and both sides of the blade can be used.

 

2. The blade tolerance is basically M grade. Generally, positive-angle blades use CCMT, DCMT, TCMT, etc., and negative-angle blades use CNMG, DNMG, TNMG, etc.

 

3. The thickness of the blade is generally specified, and there is no need to force memory

 

4. There are many types of chip breakers for inserts, and the notation of each manufacturer is different. Generally, before selecting a chip breaker, you must first ask the customer whether to use fine machining or rough machining, and then select a suitable chip breaker. Among the many chipbreakers of Korea KORLOY, HF, HM, and HRare generally selected for finishing, middle cutting and rough machining. For aluminum machining, choose AK, and for stainless steel machining, choose HSand HMP.

 

5. The choice of material is the most difficult to grasp and the most difficult to learn. Basically, the material selection should be carried out according to the customer's requirements and product requirements. In terms of Korean KORLOY blades:

a. NC3010 NC3020 NC3030 NC500H Processing general steel such as 45# steel, 40Cr, 20# steel, A3 steel and other steel parts with moderate carbon content.

b. NC3015, CC115, NC310, NC330 has a wider range of processing steel parts, but compared with NC3010, it has higher hardness and good wear resistance, but it is easier to chip, so it is not suitable for processing 20# steel, A3 steel, etc. with toughness The materials are generally suitable for processing quenched and tempered steel, alloy steel, etc.

c. NC9020 PC8010 NC3030 PC9030 processing stainless steel. d. NC6010 NC305K NC315K and other processed cast iron.

e. CN100 CT10 CN20 CN200 is a cermet blade. This blade has high hardness, but it is relatively brittle. It is generally used in finishing. If the customer requires processing of about 30 degrees HRC and high surface finish requirements, this blade can be used.

f. If you encounter some customers who require processing materials with HRC 60 degrees or more, CBN (cubic boron nitride) blades are generally recommended, and PCD (jewel knife) blades are generally recommended for aluminum parts that require relatively high finish materials.

 

6. When using the blade and the tool bar together, do not match the positive-angle blade with the negative-angle turning tool. But some places can be loosened. The 7-degree rear angle blade in the positive-angle blade can be installed on the 5-degree rear-angle blade.


Toshiba:

T9015: This is the most commonly used brand of CNC tool. Carbon steel is generally used for turning. It has high durability and the most cost-effective. However, the roughness is bad when turning small diameter workpieces.

 

NS530: This is also the most commonly used grade of CNC tool, turning carbon steel, the same cutting speed when turning small diameter workpieces, NS530 is much better than T9015, and T9015 is more durable than NS530

YL10.2 and K10 have similar feelings. The wear resistance is better than high-speed steel, but not cemented carbide. The impact resistance is better than cemented carbide, but not comparable to high-speed steel. In my case, car flat grooves, carbon Steel, some copper parts, etc. are particularly useful when working with unintelligible workpieces (usually use blades similar to high-speed steel, and you can grind them into whatever you want)

 

Material description of Teguk grades:

TT1300 CVD coating, ideal for high-speed machining of cast iron and steel parts. The alumina coating on the high wear-resistant substrate is suitable for rough and fine machining of cast iron.

 

TT1500 CVD coating is suitable for high-speed machining of steel parts and medium and low-speed machining of cast iron. When steel parts are finished and cast iron is finished, it has strong anti-crescent crater and flank wear resistance

 

TT3500 CVD coating is suitable for general turning of steel parts. It exhibits good wear resistance and toughness during medium and rough machining of steel parts.

 

TT5030 PVC coating is suitable for general turning of high temperature alloys. The thinner the base structure, the better the resistance to blasting.

 

TT7220 is suitable for medium rough and medium processing of carbon steel and alloy steel.

 

TT5100 CVD coating is suitable for general turning of stainless steel and low carbon steel. It has the characteristics of strong chipping resistance and suitable for processing of viscous materials. It is an ideal product for processing stainless steel and low carbon steel.

 

TT7100 CVD coating is suitable for heavy roughing and interrupted cutting of steel parts. This grade has good toughness for roughing steel parts.

TT8020 PVD coating is suitable for medium and low-speed processing of stainless steel, special alloys and low carbon steel. The best toughness grade of turning system products, the first choice for interrupted cutting of stainless steel and special alloys.

 

TT9030 is suitable for semi-rough and medium machining of steel and stainless steel, and high-speed machining of gray cast iron and ductile iron. It has strong resistance to mechanical shock.

 

 

CT3000 is suitable for high surface precision machining of steel, stainless steel and cast iron, showing good wear resistance and low friction coefficient.

 

PV3010 PVD-coated cermet is suitable for high surface machining of steel, stainless steel and cast iron, with good wear resistance and long tool life.

 

The TiN coating on the AB2010 alumina matrix is a new hybrid ceramic grade. When processing hard materials, compared with TiCN ceramic blades, the tool life is longer.

K10 uncoated cemented carbide has good wear resistance, suitable for general turning of cast iron, special alloys, non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and copper alloys

 

AW20 ceramic Al2O3+ZrO2 matrix, suitable for high-speed continuous cutting of cast iron. Good chemical stability and high temperature resistance, improve wear resistance, this grade is the first choice for processing hardened steel and hard materials.

 

AB20 ceramic Al2O3+TiCN matrix, high wear resistance, cutting stability, continuous machining of high-hard steel and high-hard materials and finishing of cast iron.

 

AB30 ceramic Al2O3+TiC matrix, suitable for general turning of hard materials and cast iron. Has good wear resistance and toughness, suitable for intermittent cutting.

 

AS10 ceramic Si3N4 matrix, suitable for dry and wet cutting of cast iron, with high wear resistance and good toughness and thermal shock resistance.

 

The CVD coating on the SC10 ceramic Si3N4 substrate is suitable for high-speed dry and wet cutting of cast iron. It has high wear resistance and good toughness and thermal shock resistance.

 

AS20 ceramic Si3N4 matrix, high temperature nickel-based alloy rough and fine processing. It is suitable for high-speed dry and wet cutting of cast iron, with high wear resistance and good toughness and thermal shock resistance.

 

KB50 CBN is suitable for finishing of hard materials, with low CBN content and good wear resistance.

 

TB650 CBN is widely used for cutting hard materials with good wear resistance.

 

KB90 CBN is suitable for high-speed cutting of cast iron and intermittent cutting of hard materials. High CBN content, good toughness.

 

KP300 PCD aluminum alloy for general cutting, the best combination of toughness and wear resistance. Therefore, T9015 is generally used with NS530 with a rough car and a fine car.
