Conversations like this are often heard in many factories in China. When employees finish their work, they always think it's OK.

 

How can the cavity of this set of mould have obvious segment difference

"The size on the drawing is wrong. How can it be sent out without modification?"

"I've told the processing master that it's almost the same. They'll change it."

"Why are there so many knife lines in the mold kernels processed today?"

Under the influence of these "almost" ideas, our work behavior has become lax, and we always think that there is no need to pursue refinement in many things. The final result is that there is a little difference between here and there, resulting in the processing quality of the factory drifting at the edge of instability.

 

In fact, once the idea of "almost" becomes your habit, you can't get rid of it when you don't want to. When most employees have the idea of "almost the same", it sets the processing standard of this enterprise!

 

Without the concept of temperature, can we talk about the machining accuracy?

Without the concept of equipment maintenance, can we talk about quality stability?

A good horse without a good saddle can give full play to the performance of the equipment?

Without measurement standards, can we talk about high quality?

 

"Almost" is "much worse"!

What are high precision parts? First of all, there is no need to measure. If there are scratches, grinding marks and no marks on the surface of the parts, the parts must be rejected. For product size, it must be tested and judged strictly according to the tolerance requirements of the product drawing, and speak with data, rather than depend on artificial experience judgment. Even if the parts that do not affect the use of products, the unqualified parts must be corrected.



The idea of "almost" in the factory directly reduces the working standard, which is extremely unfavorable to the development of enterprises and even individuals. Always want to take the shortcut, there is a fluke psychology, in the process of processing do not make the best efforts, but want to get the perfect result, that result is naturally a dream, delusion. Occasionally, there 

are individual speculators who are often in the moment, not long.


"Almost" means there is a gap. This kind of thinking will make the quality of the factory go further and further, and eventually it will be much worse. Sometimes, what we lack is not technology, equipment and process, but the determination and perseverance to eliminate this "almost" idea.
